This interior was developed in response to the client’s vision for a classic kitchen with a refined and understated character. The brief called for a predominantly white interior balanced by rich brown wood tones, creating a space that feels elegant and timeless while remaining light, simple, and inviting.

Overview

The architectural treatment plays an important role in establishing this atmosphere. Full-height wood-finished wall cladding and cabinetry create a continuous, tailored envelope around the room. Classical proportions, subtle mouldings, and carefully considered detailing give depth to the white palette, while the darker timber flooring and furniture introduce warmth and contrast.

Together, the carefully selected furniture, lighting, wallpaper, wood finishes, marble countertop, and textiles create a cohesive interior in which classic design is expressed through proportion, materiality, and craftsmanship rather than excessive ornamentation.
